“Chasing Stars” is one of the best country-rock songs I’ve heard of late. With its gorgeous melodies, driving guitars and inviting lead vocals, it’s a real tour de force from Jari Salmikivi. The production’s first-rate as is the performance.
If "Chasing Stars" doesn’t make you want to jump in your car at sunrise and drive through the desert with Joshua trees whizzing by on both sides then nothing will. It’s a brilliant number. A real treat for anyone who has a palate for quality pop-rock with a pinch of country on the side.
