The Review - "Don't have A Minute"

This track starts off acoustic, just Willy, his guitar and his camera. Starting off this track with a delightful guitar riff the leads into Willy singing, "Focus, Don't get Distracted...." Willy has this unique way of playing his guitar and tapping his guitar for rhythm, really makes his style of playing similar to that of unplugged Eric Clapton style. Willy plays beautiful chords along with slides and harmonics in his tracks. He has a bright sound for his positive message in this track. Part of his lyrics is, "No Filter, Be true to who you are! Still Shine Bright Like Diamonds..." What a wise statement for everyone! This young man from New York is going to go places in his music journey. Singing tracks about love, being strong, and staying true to who you are.

In conclusion, Willy Kuo never ceases to amaze me with his beautifully played tracks about life, love, hardship and self-confidence. His never give up mentality makes his tracks shine! Readers, Please hit the YouTube links about and find out for yourself.

The Review, "Obsession"

This track start off with, a swirling of guitars that is very pleasing to the ears. in the background there is a electric guitar playing a lead that sounds as if it is in the distance. What an outstanding sound from The Petal Falls!
In comes the vocalist singing, "I Dove off a Mountain, If I found you stop and stare..." That says a lot for what one feels for another.

This song is just what the title implies about being Obsessed with another and you would do anything to get their attention. The guitars are just outstanding. The percussion and bass play in unison to a beat that is seductive. The synth part at the bridge is just an amazing touch that complements the track.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed this track. It is the embodiment of an obsession. It is well played and well mastered. Readers, listen to this one it is very ear catching, you'll be humming it by the end of the day. This is a good track for those who are in love with someone so much they become their "Obsession".

The Review

There are twelve tracks on this album. I will be reviewing one off this album. and add an inculcation at the end of the review of the album in its entirety.

So lets get to the review readers!

I'll be reviewing the track, "Keep Us Free" this is the sixth song on his album.

This track starts out with beautiful guitar playing with a slight reverb sound that moves into violins and the vocals start! The rhythm is quite nice and subtle but noticeable. I love the message of struggle and the changes in power that rule over the land. The break is absolutely beautiful! This track is a beautiful rendition of all people wanting to be free from the rulers that be. And how the people pray for better days, free from struggles.

In conclusion, this track is a wonderful folk song. It describes a time where it was hard for people and a struggle to survive because of all the changes in power that rule over the land. It is a wonderful story, and I encourage readers to listen to this album and listen to the many stories being told about days of struggle. These tracks also relate to our world today. The struggles that we are now going through, day by day. Readers, again give it a listen and sit back and listen to the stories being told. You just might relate to it!

EMA's Future Sounds Anthology 4.0 Totally Amazing Album! This Is One To Remember!

How It All Started

So the history of the Future Sounds Anthology is pretty simple. After creating the EMA group, we wanted to showcase the talents of the group and promote them to the world. So for the 1st anniversary of the group we decided we wanted to compile as many members that wanted to submit and put out a compilation album.

We talked about what to call the compilation. First it was just DaveyHub, Nicky Havey and I. The three co-founders. Then we went out to the group for advice and ideas for names started flowing. We started by saying Electronic Sounds, but that was off still, so the Future idea came into play so it was then Future Sounds, and we wanted something more profound than a simple compilation, or Future Electronic Sounds. After some back and forth ideas the name Anthology was suggested and that stuck. We then had the Future Sounds Anthology.

When we first started the group and therefore the FSA idea we had a lot more activity and we decided that we would do quarterly FSA compilations. So the first year we started FSA we did 4 compilations. That’s why you will see Future Sounds Anthology Vols 1,2,3 and 4. That was 2020, when Covid hit, and things got crazy with the Pandemic, things started to quiet down and members were either sick or focused on the real world so music started to go on the wayside and we’d get less and less submissions for the compilations. And life began to take over for us co-founders and we had less time to do things with the group.

Introduction of the EMA artist's

BUFINJER

Bufinjer started making music in 1999.
For years it was just for fun and just for Himself.
In around 2007 or 2008 He had a hard drive crash and lost a lot of music. He started making music again in 2009 and have been ever since.
He started releasing to the public in 2014. Currently have 6 albums and one EP and countless singles since his last album in 2020. He plan's to release an album this year of all my tracks released since his last album. He don’t stick to one genre, I mix things up and change styles frequently. Bufinjer feel's it makes Him better at what I do by being diverse.

DAVEYHUB

Daveyhub likes to create electronic music of various styles and sounds. He is heavily influenced by the rave and breakbeat tunes from the early 90's as well as bands such as The Prodigy , Chemical Bros , Underworld , Orbital , Leftfield and many more.

His musical styles may vary but never stray from the sounds of electronica and dance music. Wether it be downtempo and dubby or drum and bass and breakbeat Daveyhub drifts through the different sub genres of electronic music effortlessly creating contrasting soundscapes and moods.

Daveyhub is also a founding member of #ElectronicMusicAlliance or #EMA for short which is a global divergent collective consisting of producers and DJ’s from across the planet who have come together to share, create and collaborate on new electronic music.

We eventually decided to cut the FSA comps down to one a year. But we had other project compilations through the year. Albums like 11:11 Invasion, which was a compilation where rap meets electronica. Project 135, an idea of DaveyHub where everyone made a track at 135 BPM. And Future Sounds of Halloween , a Halloween compilation. And of course Project 128, all tracks being 128 BPM. But each year we’d do another FSA at the beginning of the year. Year three was FSA 2.0. Year four was FSA 3.0, and of course the latest FSA 4.0.

CYLOTRON

"My grandmother got me into electronic music at an early age. It was love at first listen and I knew that one day I wanted to be a producer."
There was a quote that Chris Lowe from the Pet Shop Boys said once that I totally related to and still do to this day. "I don't like much but what I do like, I love passionately."
Chis Lowe From the Pet Shop Boys is the artists that inspires him. He has been a fan since the 80's, he says, "So many tracks, so many he could relate to."

HOOTGUN

Born in the hills of Yorkshire U.K. Hootgun started making music in the early 90s. After djing at a few venues Hootgun was asked to get involved with a local techno outfit called "Ibibio". This continued for a 2 years, with 3 self released 12" E.Ps
This is when the name "Hootgun" was born. Hootgun was a blend of two samples (horn/gunshot) on an Akai S3000 sampler.

Hootguns Dj sets slowly started to include more hip hop, funk, trip-hop and rock tracks which lead to him learning guitar and subsequently bass too.

After a few years playing in local indie rock and punk bands (as well as producing tracks for fun) , a chance meeting with former Ibibio member and established Dj/producer Mark Franklin lead to the formation of "Mudita", a 3 piece, chilled out, soundscape, electronica band.

Since then, all skills learned and influences taken on board have come together to what is now a one man production outfit known as Hootgun. Not planning on changing the world, not sticking to any sub genre, Hootgun is loving the artistic freedom that modern electronic music provides.

LOZ

"Automated Acoustics has been making music for 25 years. He uses live instruments blended with electronics and found sound. Rather than sticking to any one genre, he likes to mix it up a bit and over the years has written everything from classical pieces to ragga-jungle. Lately he has been focusing on writing trailer music and sound design, and had parts of his music used in the trailers for Alien: Covenant & Antlers. He also releases music on his own label Alternative Blueprint Records."

mANCIENT

Born 56 years ago, mAncient got into music at the age of four. The accordion. Since then, he has learnt to play keys, percussion, harmonica, a little sax & trumpet, but his foremost love is vocals.

He creates healing music in the Earth House genre, and was born a healer.

He has taken his Bodhisattva vows. Which means that he is in for another round on the Earthly plane.

In 2018 he said “Enough” to his normal job, and started travelling. Since then, he has been more broke than not, but happy. In 2021, he passed 6 million streams of his music.

With a global network of 200.000 or so, he uses his network for positive change.

His aim is to leave a better Earth for his children and grandchildren, and his best friend is a dog. They fight a lot, but that is OK. She is a trained bodyguard.

MECHANICAL FLESH

Electronic industrial music duo from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. David started playing guitar when he was about 13 and then learned his first DAW in middle school called Acid music 2.0. It was more just a collection of loops that you string together and layer. Donovan is our vocalist and he goes by Professor MBN, acronym for Micro Bio Nerd. He has played piano and has been singing for probably his whole life. Today we use a combination of hardware synths and and VST’s in FL studios.

David is not sure who his influences really are but He would say that Gary Numan and Nine Inch Nails have been a big inspiration to a lot of his songs. His drum patterns are driven by my love for Witchhouse music. He also love's industrial music.

He like the play on words. He try's to remain somewhat hidden. He wear a mask on stage and don’t usually show himself on social media for the band. He kind of like's to be behind the scenes which played a big part in bringing on a vocalist. Let’s me just make music and not have to be out front.

What drives Him to make music is just passion. It’s all He want to do. He love learning new techniques and finding new sounds. He absolutely love music production and he recently started learning stage lighting and making our own lights for the show. One day I will make us masks, LOL!

Donovan joined around December of 2022. Our first track together was released on the FSA 2.0 compilation I think. It was titled The Sentient Machine. They have played live at Factory Obscura in OKC and are trying to play more live shows as soon as possible.

PLANETROBOT

As an electronic music producer of chilled, ambient, and experimental electronic sounds, his musical journey began in his teenage years. PlanetRobot's passion for electronic music was ignited the moment I heard 'Oxygene' by Jean-Michel Jarre, there was no turning back after that ! He was always drawn to the futuristic and otherworldly sounds of electronic music, and he spent countless hours tinkering with synthesizers, drum machines, and sequencers, experimenting with different sounds and textures, even buiding his own electronic sound making machines, sequencers & computer controlled instruments.

PlanetRobot started creating his own music in earnest in his early twenties, using a combination of hardware and software to craft dreamy, ethereal soundscapes that were both calming and thought-provoking.He found inspiration in the works of pioneers like Brian Eno, Jean Michele Jarre, Kraftwerk & Tangerine Dream, as well as more contemporary artists like Jon Hopkins, Tycho, and Bonobo.

SchizoFranic

SchizioFranic is a Ambient Instramentalist Musician signed to Minds Behind the Music Records label, and working with EAR (Electric Alliance Records) label. SchizoFranics sound is a mixture of multiple genres combined to create an ambient surreal sound for listeners to experience an array of emotions. SchizoFranic mixes orchestral textured soundscapes along with trance and analog synths with vocal textures. The rhythm is a mixture of different genres from meditational beats to Trap. SchizoFranic is inspired by everyday events in our world from wildlife crisis, and poverty to climate change.

ONE DEVIOUS MONKEY AKA SKAARL

Nottinghamshire based TECH HOUSE and TECHNO DJ/producer One Devious Monkey, inspired by the dance floors and electronic sounds from the 90s to the present. Alter ego of his other alter ego - Skaarl, but keeping this one a little bit more genre specific, but still taking the approach of "whatever happens, happens".

One Devious Monkey is involved with various other electronic projects as part of the Electronic Music Alliance (EMA) and Bad Haz Techno.  Recently performing DJ sets, releasing tracks on compilations, as well as a remix for DaveyHub's Wonderland EP.

 iconDARK

iconDARK is the recording name of Atlanta, GA-based electronic music producer Marc Washington. Marc spent years penning tales of dark fantasy, horror, and science fiction before going on an extended creative hiatus and then, in 2017, switching from the written word to music.

But, while his medium may have changed, his genres and subject matter have not. iconDARK’s ominous instrumentals range in sub-genre from dark ambient soundscapes and haunted lo-fi to spooky synthwave and eerie cinematic electronica.

Often, his tracks draw their names and inspirations from tales of the paranormal, unsolved mysteries, UFOs, cryptids, and his own stories, both published and not.

Among his creative influences he lists Marilyn Mason, Rob Zombie, the Prodigy, and John Carpenter, but he is quick to point out that he doesn’t want to imitate their respective styles, but rather to be listed among them as influences for some future generation.

ELECTROSTATIC NIGHTMARE DISCO

An Electronic music producer from Leicester, UK. A member of the Electronic Music Alliance, E.N.Ds music is a diverse collection ranging from chilled out trip hop instrumentals to dark and industrial techno, via DnB and classical piano. The producer of the Techno Addict series of Industrial, dark and occasionally downright scary Techno.

Recent influences from German techno DJ/producers Felix Krocher & Stephan Bodzin.

INSPIRATION His inspiration differs from most artists as it comes from the dance floor where he is most at home. From over 20 years experiencing DJ sets worldwide throughout Europe, Asia, South & North America, his ideas have been shaped.

METHODOLOGY He approaches each track as a mini set, building up slowly, using level changes, sounds that stimulate & energize, following Skeletalism (using closely related sounds) & Massification (layering sounds over time) methods

In the world we live in, our lives are structured around money. We must earn to live. The problem is the "system" of money is controlled by the ruling elite of the world and the small 1% earn more than the rest of us put together. We are controlled from birth by money. But where did it come from? Who is behind this manipulative and controlling factor of our lives?

Money lending originated in a culture that had previously spent thousands and thousands of years bartering and surviving based upon family and group or socially oriented methods. But people, instead of actually bringing a product to market, started to promise they would bring a pig or an ox as payment and this was the lie and deception. The following week at market the pig or ox never arrived and so laws were brought in, but people evaded even these and so a new market stall was created by the Church and today we still refer to this stall with the same name – bank. This bank (from the Germanic route bancka or Italian banca, both meaning, table or bench) replaced the pig or ox with a new thing called money – the promise. The very word itself ought to have given us some indication of what was to come, for it is derived from the Latin word monere, which means ‘to warn.’

It was backed by the wealth of the state or religion, which were intertwined anyway, and so people had trust in it. Eventually people used this trust and started to borrow from the funds based upon future harvests. When the harvest didn’t arrive the individual was suddenly under the subjugation of the authorities until the loan was paid off. In this way our modern capitalist state is based upon a lie and uses the individuals desires or even in the extreme, greed, to tie them up in ever increasing debt.

In the time before money, man offered the gods his goods and the priesthood accepted on behalf of their imagined masters. Today we offer the gods money and the priests do the same. If there were no gods, there would be no priests requiring us to make our offerings. I know that this is a massive over simplification, but yet again it makes a point – the priests create a ‘value’ called god and add to that – it is added value.

Look at it this way. A diamond is a lump of crystallised rock. The world is full of them, and yet somehow we have added value to it and now it is precious to us. It is actually of no worth other than what human’s place on it and has no spiritual or practical value and the animals would walk past it without a care. It cannot feed you, it cannot save you and it certainly ought not to make you any happier than you already should be. And yet, people kill each other for them – based upon the value created by another man. An artist puts paint on a canvass and adds value – he is colouring up the mundane and charging us for it. Will it feed us? Will it save the starving of Africa or stop the brutal murder of innocents? I think not.

All of this is what Islam calls the kafir system. It is the unseen force that is behind many evils and is lead by the Dajjal – the anti-Christ. So, even the very dark side of religion is given ‘extra value’. In this way, the system is actually at odds with what it is supposed to do – it is paradoxical and yet self-sustaining. Society is run on this system – but ask yourself, what does this system care for justice, love, need? It is, like the tale of that little girl in the Cathedral, feeding off the desires of man and at the same time subjugating him. It is adding value to the inner spiritual nature of man with a lie.

The truth is that we have a spiritual nature brought about by our own consciousness and desire to understand the big questions. We have emotions, empathy and feelings about the world, people and animals around us. We look towards the heavens in wonder and then along comes a man in a religious frock and gives us explanations and all he asks in return for access to this wonderful new world of peace, harmony and heaven, is ten percent of your earnings. Not for him you understand, but for the gods. Today there are many lies and much deception. They are not always so obvious, in fact the majority are subtle. But they always tend to offer us something, which most of the time we could have done without or found within ourselves.

A lifetime of such deception turns a man dark. It weighs him down with fear, guilt, desire, lust, and in the end he forgets what he really wanted and needed in the first place. He is consumed by other people’s ideas of what he should be. Only by understanding that these things are false - that he did not need to pay the priest in the first place, that he did not need that diamond ring or painting - will he free himself from the cycle of debt. But more importantly, he will free his mind of the false desires and understand his true self. It is this freeing of the mind with the knowledge of our, and other people’s deceptions that is the route to true enlightenment. This is the real reason that the Catholic Church and other ‘authorities’ tried to stamp out decent. If we look back in time to those organisations that orthodoxy tried to eradicate we find one truth at the core – that those who would be free were gatherers of knowledge. One only has to look at that wonderful tale of the Egyptian city, Alexandria, with its millions of books and scrolls encompassing the wisdom and knowledge of the world and the ages past. It was burned to the ground by Christianity, afraid of the power of knowledge.

It is time to free ourselves of the bonds of ignorance.

Coming soon an interview with The Americans - The Band!

About The Americans

Every few years, musicians arrive on the scene with an undeniably fresh approach to a tried-and-true genre. Showcasing this with unparalleled proficiency is the acclaimed Los Angeles-based Americana band The Americans. Upon hearing Stand True — the band’s forthcoming 11-song, sophomore studio LP (out May 6 via Loose Music) — it’s evident why revered producer T Bone Burnett raved, calling them, “genius twenty-first century musicians that are reinventing American heritage music for this century. And it sounds even better this century.”

The title track and album opener, “Stand True,” showcases the group’s riveting grip on storytelling, dynamics and melodic hooks that leave listeners cemented to their speakers. Patrick Ferris (vocals/guitar), Jake Faulkner (bassist) and Zac Sokolow (guitarist) collide to deliver a moving collection that lands somewhere between Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp and Nathaniel Rateliff.

Following their 2017 debut album, I’ll Be Yours, The Americans took a step back, regained focus, and went into Big Bad Sound studios in Los Angeles to carve out an album of material that “is more our own than ever before,” the band confirms.

The overall touchstone of Stand True, which the band self-produced, is devotion in the face of loss. And with that, the album’s sophomore single, “Born With A Broken Heart,” solidifies that concept as it showcases an edgier side to the band; a gritty ode to the way romantically wounded people sometimes find one another. “Driving home from gigs, Zac would tune into a Navajo AM radio station out of Window Rock, AZ,” recalls Patrick. “Parts of the song came from some of that music. It feels like driving through Los Angeles at night.”

It was sometime in the 1970s, a decade before front man Patrick Ferris and bassist Jake Faulkner were born, that their mothers met on a train to Woodstock. Patrick and Jake met as children, but they lived in different cities and saw very little of one another before reconnecting in high school.

They got along immediately through their joy for busking (street performing), and pre-war American country and blues. "Nobody I knew liked the same music," recalls Patrick. Jake came to San Francisco from Los Angeles to visit, bringing his guitar and baskets of recording gear. They spent that summer recording homeless street musicians with a mobile unit they lugged around the city, making copies of the recordings for the performers to sell.

Guitarist Zac Sokolow had dropped out of high school and was busking on the streets while working construction in Los Angeles when Jake saw him playing guitar. Jake convinced him to move in and start a band. They spent years digging through obscure records and arcane field recordings, teaching themselves the banjo, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, and slide guitar.

Patrick calls this long immersion, during which he created and hosted a radio show, a "purist" phase. "We were suspicious of modern rock music," he says. "When we got together and formed a band, we had to make everything from scratch. We had no template. There was no band we wanted to be like. We were curious if we could create something brand new, summoning the spirit of old blues and country through what we'd learned firsthand, leaving nostalgia behind."

"We write our songs inside-out," says Patrick. "We grab hold of something minuscule and primitive—a simple turn of phrase or an unusual beat—and try to build a song around it. It's inefficient, and hard to write words over, but it's magical when it works."

The band's distinctive, powerful works have captured the attention of a number of stars. They've backed Nick Cave, Lucinda Williams, Ashley Monroe, and Devendra Banhart, and twice joined Ryan Bingham on national tours. They worked closely with Jack White and T Bone Burnett, joining Nas, Elton John, and Alabama Shakes in the PBS primetime series American Epic.

Their live show, honed over many hundreds of performances, is something to behold. Ron Wray (No Depression) writes, "they’re led by lead singer, guitarist Patrick Ferris, looking like James Dean but even better...Jake Faulkner, with his dark black beard and jaunty hat, dances across stage, lifting his stand-up bass like a dancing partner." Steve Wildsmith (Daily Times) admires their "anthemic guitar hooks and a heartland sense of urgency that’s tailor made for road trips and late-night parties beneath a field of brilliant stars."

The band's first tour was different from most. A friend who'd introduced them to Robert Frank—whose collection of photographs inspired the band's name—was appointed drummer. He was allowed to play with only a plywood suitcase, which he beat with a soup spoon. The band

set off on a meandering, quixotic odyssey that found them playing honky-tonks, rural bars, a Navajo radio station, and a wine cellar in an abandoned Coca-Cola bottling plant. Some of the venues hadn't hosted a live band since the 1980s.

"We had a passport to the hidden heartland of our country," recounts Jake. "What you learn exploring the nooks and crannies of any place, but especially this country, is that there's no type of person." Zac adds that "stereotypes break down at the individual level. What makes American music great is the same thing that makes America great—people who come from all over the world, each with a story, each with something to contribute."

THE REVIEW, "WALK ON"

This track starts off with some grungy sounding guitars. The kind of guitars you would hear with the band Sneaker Pimps. This track has amazing atmosphere to it, with back ground talking slightly low, low enough that you know that it's  words. There is also some sort of shaker, or bells being played along side the low talking. all those elements mix together along side the guitars makes just this amazing atmospheric sound to the track. Very refreshing If you ask me. Nineteen seconds in and I am sucked in. Then there is this burst of synth sound, a wall of synths bright and edgy. I can't tell you enough how this band reminds me of the Sneaker Pimps. I'm sure when you listen to this single when released, you'll think to yourself the same. Then all a sudden there is a pause in the track, with a reverse vocals that sound so good that leads into the vocals. At the break the Vocalist sings, "Johnny in the back He self preserves on crack And he knows Yeah he knows Johnny in the back
He’s self preserved on crack" Lyrics by Tom Spiby. These are lyrics not for the faint of heart. All around with the bass and the percussion along side the lyrics and effects, this band is brilliant! This track had me taping my toes and bobbing my head to the beat.

In conclusion, I love the sound of the track, that it sound so close to the Sneaker Pimps that it took me back to them day's. I absolutely loved how everything in this track from the bass to the lyrics are in sync with the percussion. It give the track a sort of bobbing kind of bounce to the whole track. I really enjoyed Noasis track "Walk On" I like the fact that while listing to this track I find myself dancing in my seat! So, Readers give it a listen. Before you know it you'll also be dancing in your seat!

Waiting for, ready for new track released from Whynotfrank! What an outstanding track!

About Whynotfrank

Whynotfrank are born through sound experiments and creative forms that are consolidated in music works.

The lyrics of the songs manifest the restlessness of those who observe what others do not see, while the sound of WNF represents the fusion of already known and unusual sounds.

The first five songs published from WNF reflect some of the characteristic elements of Why and Not, in the lyrics with the intention of bringing the public closer to their clear and direct philosophy, and in the music which highlights their different personalities by combining them in an ever-changing mosaic.

PRESS RELEASE AND REVIEW SWELTR'S SECOND SINGLE, "ALL THE REST"...

About SWELTR

Formed in the blistering heat of 2022, SWELTR are a band hailing from north and
north-west Dublin. Taking inspiration from what they experienced as children, teens,
and now somewhat adults, SWELTR are not afraid to embrace who they truly are.
Shaped by the sites and sounds around them, SWELTR are inspired by even the
most outlandish thoughts and ideas, anything is food for thought to these guys.

Former members of the Dublin Post-Punk scene, Noel and Tony are back with a new
and fresh understanding and take on the Punk sound, while maintaining the same
gut wrenching energy and thump they carried in their previous project.

Noel Dempsey, one of Dublin's finest musicians, self-taught, this man will hit the
skins so hard your ancestry will bop their heads. Finglas born and bred, Noel takes
inspiration from the likes of Nirvana, Joy Division, QOTSA and many, many more.
A perfectionist in his own right, Noel will blow you away with some of the tightest and
beefiest grooves he has to offer. This man is a machine you simply cannot turn off.

Tony Keyes, a madman of all trades, has experience playing guitar, bass and singing
in various different groups and styles of music. Cooked and seasoned in
Blanchardstown, Tony manages to combine the styles of bass and guitar in harmony,
and in wrath, something he is proud to own.
His vocal, remnant of the grunge era, takes its own form, as Dublin accents are let
loose, screams are heard and the message is loud. Oftentimes unclear, Tony’s lyrics
take on metaphors and noun modification and slang, beckoning you to dig a little
deeper.

Press-Release

All The Rest
SWELTR’s second single.
Written and recorded By ‘Noel Dempsey’ and ‘Tony Keyes’ during the winter of 2022.
Recorded in February in Noel's shed, which has now been labelled "The SWELTR
Shed", SWELTR are not afraid to take the DIY approach to get the sound they want.
Following on from their first single “What's It Gonna Be?”, they are back to make a
statement with their next tune.

The song opens with, “Did you wake up on the wrong side of your head?” An
intrusive start to the song, getting right to the point. That something is not right and
needs to change. The verse expresses the reality of masking negative feelings.

The song speaks to a universal struggle that we all face, touching on subjects of
everyday life, but in an almost crude and unfiltered manner. Expression feelings of
one's exhaustion, latency and an overall jaded feeling towards life and the need to
mask it to cope. All the while maintaining a cheerful tone, with lyrics that carry some
weight to them. The second verse punches the listener with the line, "terrified of what
you might see". However, the blow is softened by Noel's backing vocals that really
make the final verse its own unique part of the song.

The Chorus, "I'm done with all the rest", is the reaction from the feelings that are
examined in the verses. An explosion of one's inner self, a rebel, of one's own
nature. Combined with melodic and true noise, to further the message.

A thumping yet, spacey outro section with fuzzy and unruly guitars backed by an
unstoppable drum beat.
Tony repeats the line "I'm done". Phasing in and out of different levels of aggression,
he again expresses the feelings shown in the chorus.

SWELTR have never and will never shy away from bringing the noise way above the
threshold, which Noel and Tony have done their best to demonstrate in the song's
final section.
A piece of organised chaos - They have managed to lighten the load of these lyrics,
with a catchy drum beat, spacey guitars and a relaxed, almost slacker style vocal
from Tony.
Their newest track is not something to be missed.

The Review, "All The Rest".

This Track starts out with an awesome feel wright off the the bat with a synth playing so smoothly along guitars picking introducing the melody. And that all in the first eight seconds. Wow what a sound! Then the drums and bass come in also smoothly then as the  guitar's change up. Vocals come in singing, "Did You Wake Up On The Wrong Side Of Your Head? Let's Clarify What You Need To Pretend." The Vocalist has a warm and inviting voice with some vocal effects that makes his sound, sound surreal. In-between the vocals there is a short drum break that just adds to the vibe of the track. At the Bridge a wall of guitars with a grungy crisp sound erupts! The drums are banging along side the vocals. What a unique sound this band has. I think with a bit of a Nirvana sound to this band. I love haw smooth there sound is. This is a kind of band you could listen to on road trips and never get tiered of them. Definitely put this track on repeat.

In conclusion, Totally love the song! I loved the smooth feel to it and the vocals are nice and clear even with the vocal effect. the drums are played outstandingly all through the track. It keeps you engaged with the track along side the bass. Oh, those guitars played so beautifully from begging to finish setting the vibe of the track along side the vocals that keep you hanging on to each word he sings. Readers, please check out SWELTR'S new track, "All The Rest". It is an outstanding track and you will love it too.

Musicians: Get Involved

Mungo Jerry
Why Should YOU as a musician, get involved with helping out the planet?

Music is a form of art that has no boundaries, and artists who create it have enormous power to influence and inspire people globally. At the same time, environmental charities are organizations that work to protect and conserve natural resources, endangered species, and ecosystems all around the world. Let's elaborate on why musicians should get involved in environmental charities. Firstly, musicians have a massive audience base that can be utilized to raise awareness about environmental issues. Secondly, musicians have the ability to convey powerful messages and emotions through their music, which can influence audiences to take action against environmental problems. Thirdly, music can be used as a means to fundraise for environmental charities, and this can be very beneficial for such organizations.

Musicians have a huge fan base that can be used to raise awareness about environmental issues. Fans follow their favorite musicians on social media platforms, concerts, and events. Musicians can use these platforms to share information about environmental issues such as global warming, climate change, and deforestation. By sharing links, articles, and spread awareness using these platforms, musicians can create an impact among their followers. Musicians have the ability to get their fans to care about the environment since fans look up to these artists, and they trust their opinions. By involving themselves in environmental charities, musicians can draw the attention of their massive audience to environmental issues.

Musicians have the ability to convey powerful messages and emotions through their music, which can influence audiences to take action against environmental problems. Music is an essential tool for conveying messages and emotions. Musicians can use music to create awareness about environmental issues and inspire their fans to take action. For example, a musician can create a music video that shows the effects of pollution on the environment. Using a catchy tune and meaningful lyrics, musicians can produce a song that resonates with people and motivates them to think about their actions and take steps to reduce their carbon footprint.

Music can be used as a means to fundraise for environmental charities. Musicians have the ability to produce music that people can buy to support environmental charities. For example, artists such as Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, and Jason Mraz have used their music and concerts to raise awareness and funds for environmental charities. Other musicians can follow suit by hosting concerts, creating merchandise that promotes environmental awareness, and donating money from their album sales to environmental charities. Funds from these events can be used to support research, organize rallies, and spread awareness about environmental issues that require attention.

Suzi Quatro
Musicians can create partnerships with environmental charities to support their causes. By partnering with environmental charities, musicians can amplify their message and spread awareness even further. These partnerships present an opportunity for musicians to collaborate with environmental charities on fundraising efforts, creating educational content, and hosting awareness events. For example, The Foo Fighters partnered with Rock the Vote to encourage their fans to vote and become politically in
volved in environmental issues. Such partnerships are beneficial as they help increase awareness and amplify the message the musicians try to get across.

Environmental charities and musicians can collaborate together to spread awareness about environmental issues and create change. By joining forces, environmental charities and musicians can host events, rallies, and concerts, all of which would have a significant impact on creating awareness around environmental issues. For instance, environmental charities can host events where musicians can perform, and the proceedings raised can go to support the charity's mission. This type of partnership not only supports the environmental charity but also gives musicians an opportunity to use their platform to raise awareness.

Musicians can use their influence to raise awareness about specific environmental issues that require attention. Musicians can choose to focus on one of the many environmental problems that require attention, such as deforestation, water pollution, and climate change. With this initiative, they can amplify the message and raise awareness of these issues, which will draw attention to the root cause and encourage people to take appropriate action. This way, musicians can effectively target a specific issue, communicate with their fans, and work towards promoting more sustainable lifestyles.
Musicians can encourage their fans to make small changes in their daily lives that have a significant impact on the environment. They can use their platforms to promote sustainable activities such as recycling, public transport, and reducing the use of single-use plastics. By normalizing sustainable lifestyles, those efforts encourage fans to take small steps towards making changes that can benefit the environment. Musicians can create distinct campaigns that promote different sustainable changes, such as touring using carbon-neutral methods.

Musicians can support the use of eco-friendly products through endorsing and partnering with companies that produce sustainable merchandise, such as clothing made from organic cotton or accessories made from recycled materials. They can also use their influence to advocate for policies that support environmental protection and conservation. By using their platform to promote eco-friendly practices, musicians can inspire their fans to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and contribute to a healthier planet.

So, if you have decided you'd like to help, then get in touch with us at Minds Behind the Music. We're actively looking for musicians to release "singles" in aid of Greenpeace and various other environmental and animal charities. All the chosen releases go MAINSTREAM and are released on every single platform world-wide and we will press release and promote every single at our cost. Simple.
